Progress

The joint pain is resolving pretty well.  I took advantage of the cooler weather and walked outside today for the first time in quite a while.  I had been using the treadmill.  I am also increasing my distance.

I think I am making a little progress in understanding the new plumbing.  I have absolutely no problem going every three hours like they want.  The real problem is that I am going every hour to hour and a half - including at night.  If I don't let things go to the hour and a half mark, I have some pretty good control.  Control is not really the right word.  I think it is more like learning to hang on the tiger that I have by the tail.  However, I am encouraged that I am learning.  I am told that the rest will just come with time.

I am supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Schoenberg three weeks from the catheter removal.  He apparently is out of the country, so we don't have an appointment yet.  We will see.  After that all appointments are to be with Dr. Schmidt in Salem.
