No more tubes! It was pretty wierd because multiple tubes to the ureters were connected to the catheter. It just kept coming out - kind of like in the 50's when they would pack a volkswagen with tons of people, and they would just keep coming out until you wondered how in the world they got all of them in there.
It seems strange now that I have to make sure I go to the bathroom every three hours. It is strange because the new bladder does not feel the same as the normal one. I have to learn the new signals.
I am also continuing to have trouble with my legs and joints. I feel better now than I did this morning. Dr. Schmidt said that I should keep at the walking and begin doing some light upper body exercises.
