What Goes Down, May Come Up

If Ray is not able to do any better by tomorrow morning, I may call the oncologist and take him in for an IV of fluids.  Ray is supposed to be drinking liquids excessively, and right now swallowing the anti-nausea pills makes him vomit.  He was (so far, knock on wood) successful in keeping down one quarter of a popsicle, but that's all he's had for 24 hours, I would say.  We may try Jello later on.  Meanwhile, see the post below and leave a comment; they really do cheer my sweetheart.
Lots of love, and best wishes for the happiest of Easters!!

Philippians 3:10-12
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

  1. I am so sorry Ray is that sick this time. Being nauseated is the worst kind of sickness. Hope the jello stays down, but IV fluids would be most important if things don't change soon. Dehydation does not feel good, and will just add the "sick" feeling he has now.

    Keep us posted

  2. Dear sweet Kelli & Ray --
I hope the nausea is finally subsiding. What a rough couple of days for Ray. I hope it was ALSO a rough couple of days for any remaining cancer cells and that they are sorry they ever messed with this guy in the first place! I am signing "Emily G" because I finally have a new last name -- it is "Ghiurcan" which will definitely be more fun to teach folks how to spell than "Baas." I am thinking of you guys and wishing Ray a much, much better day tomorrow. :) Happy Easter & love,
