Snow Does Afford Time to Sleep

The good news about getting a foot of snow (coming tomorrow) is that Ray is perfectly excused and able to sleep hours upon hours away.  The other 'good' news, so to speak, is that his doctor's office is getting him in quick today for his next dose of chemo instead of waiting until tomorrow when the skies are due to open up a blizzard upon us.

Here at the Moore house, we're frantically brainstorming about babysitting options, packing snacks and drinks, getting iPods and other gear for entertainment.  We're heading over at 3:00.  Just as Ray is starting to feel about 85% back to normal, ka-pow! -- Time for round 2 of his poison treatment.

This afternoon Ray will be 25% completed with his treatments, as next week is his week off to finish up the first cycle of four.  I'm not sure we'll feel like partying this afternoon, but we are grateful to be a step closer to being through.
