Cycle Two

Tomorrow is Big Chemo Day. We start cycle two with a 5-7 hour treatment. Last time, I slept quite a bit for the first few days. All the snow gave me extra time for rest.

By the way, Kelli and I are running our hands through my hair, and I am definitely shedding.  I was drying off from a shower after the gym yesterday and ended up with a face full of hair.  Maybe it is just thinning...

Johns Hopkins called on Tuesday to check on me. They also said that they wanted to do a re-staging of the cancer after chemo is over and that they want to wait five weeks after chemo before they do it.  Surgery would then be delayed until the end of May or beginning of June.  That is a bit of a bummer as it will put our week at the beach in jeopardy as well as a couple of conferences I had hoped to do in Arkansas. However, first things first, so I guess we will just have to roll with it.

Thanks again for all your support.
