Sleepy Calm
Now that is some ear!!! I mean do think I could get airborne if I could get it flapping?
Anyway, chemo went well today. I felt a little yuck when I went in but felt better although tired when I left. I think the anti-nausea medicine they gave me for today helped what was ailing me when I arrived. The nurse also got me another anti-nausea medicine to use the next time I have the cisplatin. She also got a me a prescription for hiccups. That was a pretty big problem during the cisplatin week.
My appetite has returned as well. I am not eating a lot, but I am eating a normal meal at the normal times. I dropped about 10 pounds during the week, but I am sure I will now start gaining a bit since I am not doing too much.
We are 50% done now, and that is good. We are thankful that so many people are supporting us and that we live in a country where this medical care is a possibility and that we have the medical coverage. Most of all we are thankful for God who cares for us and knows the number of hairs on our head - even when they are a little shorter and fewer in number.

Dear Ray, Kelli and boys, you are all in my prayers and how amazing and brave of you to allow everyone the privilege of following your footsteps through this. My hope is that you keep faithful, strong and that you continue to have your friends to lean on. Much Love, Jackie
ReplyDeleteHi to Danny and Matteo and let them know that I am thinking of how cute they are!!!
Mr. Moore,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you remember me but my name is Krista (formerly Kier). I am soon to be Allie Horan's sister-in-law. I just wanted you to know I prayed for you tonight--for strength, peace, and hope in the difficult times. Keep your head up and thanks for the comedy & reminder that God knows and cares for every hair on our heads. Smiles!
